Adarsh Kishore takes over as the new Secretary, Expenditure
New Delhi: The government has announced that Dr. Adarsh Kishore will succeed Dhirendra Swaroop as the new expenditure secretary in the Finance Ministry.

Swaroop will however continue till the presentation of the budget, while Dr. Kishore will come in as Officer on Special Duty in the Expenditure department.

Currently, Dr Adarsh Kishore is Secretary, Heavy Industries.

Shankarnarayanan to officiate as CEO, Federal Bank
Kochi: The Federal Bank has said that P.R. Shankaranarayanan has taken charge as its officiating Chief Executive Officer with effect from January 1. He has been working as the Executive Director of the bank since 1995, a press release here said.

Shankaranarayanan was earlier the General Manager of Unit Trust of India in Mumbai, the release added.
