Bharat Forge's Kalyani is Business Standard's CEO of the year
Mumbai: Bharat Forge Chairman and Managing Director Baba N Kalyani has been named by Business Standard as its CEO of the year. The paper says that the award goes to Kalyani for his role in the transformation of Bharat Forge 'from an ugly local duckling into a globally competitive swan.'

The list of previous winners of the BS CEO of the year award includes Tata group Chairman Ratan Tata, Reliance group Chairman Mukesh Ambani, Hero group Chairman Brij Mohan Lal Munjal and Infosys' NR Narayana Murthy.

A Ray is new director at Nalco
Bhubaneswar: Nalco has appointed A. Ray, Executive Director of its Smelter and Power complex, as its new Director (personnel and administration).

Ray had worked in various organisations, including the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) and Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), before joining Nalco in 1982 as Deputy Chief Engineer (power plant) and has worked in various capacities, a Nalco release said.
