FIIs sell equities worth Rs.217 crore
Mumbai: For the trading week ended April 29, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) recorded net sales of Rs217.7 crore in equities, while mutual funds (MFs) were net purchasers at Rs320.71 crore.

The foreign funds were net sellers at Rs70.7 crore in the debt market for the period under review, according to the data available with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) here. The mutual funds were net purchasers in the debt market at Rs808.88 crore.

The Stock Exchange, Mumbai, (BSE) during the week under review, saw the Sensex lose 192.13 points to close at 6154.44 points.
