DSP Merrill to amend MF's trust deed
Kolkata: DSP Merrill Lynch Trustee Co has proposed to amend the trust deed applicable to DSP ML Mutual Fund and has sought the unit holders' consent to incorporate a new clause, which will ensure that the provisions of the trust deed are at all times in accordance with the relevant legislations - in this case, the SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996.

The new clause states,inter alia, that in the event of any conflict between the provisions of the trust deed and the regulations, the provisions of the latter will prevail while those of the former will be deemed to be modified to such extent. Also, any provision contained in the deed to the extent to which it is repugnant to the provisions of the regulations will be or become void, as the case may be.

Shoppers' Stop IPO oversubscribed 8.6 times
Mumbai:
The Shoppers' Stop IPO, which opened on April 28 and closed on May 4, has been oversubscribed 8.6 times.

The IPO for 57.56 lakh equity shares was priced between Rs210 and Rs250 each, with the minimum order at 25 shares. Roughly 4.95 crore bids were received for the issue. There were 72.40 lakh bids made at the cut-off price.
