Online
university: Donald's new Trump card
New York: Donald Trump has launched his latest venture:
an online University that will carry his name. The Trump
University will consist of online courses, CD-ROMs, consulting
services and seminars.
The
profit oriented university will not offer degrees or grades
and courses will cost $300 and take one to two weeks to
complete. "In today's hyper-competitive business
climate, the need for the highest quality education has
become more crucial than ever," Trump said yesterday
at a news conference. "But people are looking beyond
the traditional business education model, which involves
hours in the classroom and relies primarily on book learning."
Students,
who will be referred to as 'customers'- will be able to
register for classes in marketing, real estate and entrepreneurship
starting this week, with additional curriculum areas planned
for the future.
The
billionaire real-estate mogul said the project could develop
into a brick-and-mortar school.
