FIIs net purchasers in equities
Mumbai:
Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) recorded net purchases of Rs783.1 crore ($180.1 million) in equities for the trading week ended June 10. Mutual funds were also net purchasers at Rs58.39 crore during the period.

While the foreign funds were net sellers at Rs10 lakh in the debt market for the period under review, the mutual funds were net purchasers in the debt market at Rs879.37 crore, according to data available with the Securities and Exchange Board of India here.

The Stock Exchange, Mumbai, (BSE) during the week under review, saw the Sensex gaining 24.99 per cent to close at 6781.99.
