Bharti group gets Jay Menon back from Reliance Info.
New Delhi: Jay Menon has gone back to the Bharti group just four weeks after he left to join Anil Ambani's Reliance Infocomm.

The industry had begun asking questions about the reason behind the sudden exodus of the top executive from the Bharti group.

Menon has apparently clarified to media sources that personal and professional reasons were responsible for his decision to leave the ADA (Anil Dhirubhai Ambani) Group. He has apparently said that his return had been prompted by a family crisis that required him to live in Delhi.

Menon has said that he has sent in his resignation to the ADA group this morning and would be joining Bharti from Monday. He added that he was determined to come back to Delhi and felt that the Bharti group would help fulfill his professional ambitions.

A Reliance spokesperson has issued a terse statement, saying that Menon had a five-year contract with Reliance. The statement went counter to a Bharti group claim that the termination of Menon's contract was by mutual consent.
