A.K. Singhal takes over as director, Finance at NTPC
New Delhi: A.K. Singhal has assumed charge as the Director (Finance) of the state-owned National Thermal Power Corporation.

Singhal, who was earlier working as Executive Director (Finance) in NTPC, has replaced P. Narsimharamulu, who retired on Sunday, the company has said in a release.

Before joining NTPC, Singhal was ED (Finance) in National Fertilisers Ltd. He also worked in Kribhco and Engineering Projects of India Ltd, the release said.

LG India reshuffles upper echelon
New Delhi: LG Electronics India has announced a top-level reshuffle at the company.

According to a company release, Amitabh Tiwari, who is currently Regional Manager, Eastern Zone, has been designated as the new Product Group Head for CTVs. He takes over this position from C.M. Singh, who is moving out of LG on grounds of better future prospects.

In order to impart increased focus on the premium range of refrigerators and to meet the needs created due to commencement of production for hi-end refrigerators at the Pune plant, Anil Arora has been given the sole charge of piloting the frost-free category.

Rohit Pandit has been given independent charge of PGH Direct Cool and SFF.

Salil Kapoor, Head Marketing, LG India, has been given charge of the brand team in addition to the existing portfolio of various marketing functions.
