Amrutanjan MD, S. Radhakrishna passes away
Chennai:
S. Radhakrishna, Managing Director, Amrutanjan Ltd, has passed away at the age of 72.

Radhakrishna was the grandson of the social reformer, journalist and freedom fighter Nageswararao Panthulu Garu, who founded Amrutanjan in 1893.

A postgraduate in Chemistry, Radhakrishna joined Amrutanjan in the mid-1950s and had been guiding the company for the past five decades.

Amrutanjan was incorporated as a public limited company in 1936 and is in the healthcare business with manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceutical products. Its core strength lies in the pain-relieving category with the yellow pain balm Amrutanjan being a household name for over 100 years.

In recent times, the company has diversified into fine chemicals, information technology and biotechnology.

Daljit Singh joins Bharti Tele
New Delhi:
Daljit Singh has joined Bharti Tele Ventures Ltd as Corporate Director-Human Resources (HR). He will also be a member of the Management Council.

Prior to joining Bharti, Singh worked with American Express as Vice President-HR for Japan, Asia-Pacific, Australia and New Zealand.

Announcing his appointment, Sunil Bharti Mittal, Chairman and group Managing Director, Bharti Enterprises, said, "As Daljit joins our senior management pool, all of us in Bharti wish him the very best. I am glad that Bharti continues to attract the best people from all across the globe and today can boast of great talent pool."
