Vishal Dhupar to head Symantec India
Bangalore: Symantec Corp has announced the appointment of Vishal Dhupar as the managing director of Symantec India.

Vishal joins Symantec from Autodesk where he led the Indian operations. Prior to that, Vishal was director of sales at Sun Microsystems India.

Anuj Poddar to head strategy for MTV, South Asia
New Delhi: MTV Networks has appointed Anuj Poddar director, strategy, for MTV Networks Asia. As the head of strategy and business development for South Asia, Poddar's focus will be on developing the business across the Indian subcontinent.

Poddar is moving in from KPMG, where he was leading the advisory practice of the media and entertainment sector for the last two years. He was recently involved in publishing the CII-KPMG report for the Indian entertainment industry, called 'Focus 2010: Dreams to Reality'.

Poddar has also worked for Arthur Andersen for around eight years.
