IOC chief Behuria on World LP Gas board
New Delhi: Sarthak Behuria, chairman, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, has been elected to the board of the World LP Gas Association as its vice-president representing the Asia region.

The World LP Gas Association is a global forum, which represents the world LP Gas industry in the formulation of policies and supporting innovations in the LP Gas market besides facilitating information exchange and communication for all LP Gas stakeholders.

Alan Durante retires from M&M
Mumbai: Mahindra &Mahindra has informed the BSE that Alan E Durante, executive director of the company has retired from the company effective from September 25, 2005.

Durante has also ceased to be a member of the board of directors of the company.

BP chief coming to India
New Delhi: Sir John Browne, chairman, British Petroleum (BP), may visit India next month to explore oil and gas opportunities. During October 13-14, he may explore deep water exploration, refining and marketing opportunities in India, said an industry source.

Browne would meet Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani, Tata group chairman Ratan Tata, Oil and Natural Gas Corp chairman and MD Subir Raha, Indian Oil Corp chairman Sarthak Behuria, Bharat Petroleum Corp chairman and MD Ashok Sinha and Hindustan Petroleum Corp chairman and MD Mahesh Lal during his two-day visit.
