FIIs record net sales of Rs.248.09 crore in equities
Mumbai: Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) recorded net sales in equities at Rs248.09 crore (US$56mn) for the trading week ended October 7 while mutual funds (MFs) were buyers at Rs37.66 crore.

The foreign funds were net sellers in the debt market at Rs340.90 ($78 million) for the period under review, according to the data available with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) here.

The mutual funds were net purchasers in the debt market at Rs14.62 crore.

Shree Renuka Sugars IPO subscribed six times
Mumbai: The IPO of Shree Renuka Sugars was subscribed by around 6.12 times on Friday, the first day that it opened. A large number of bids received were in the QIB category, which got oversubscribed 10 times, a company release said.

The 100-per cent book-built IPO is priced between Rs250 and Rs300 and will close on October 14.
