NITIE honours Raha, Ratan Tata, Kakodkar
Mumbai: The National Institute of Industrial Training (NITIE) has felicitated ONGC chairman Subir Raha, Tata Group chairman Ratan Tata and Atomic Energy Commission Chairman and DEA Secretary Anil Kakodkar with the Lakshya Business Visionary Award.

Speaking on the occasion, Subir Raha stressed on the importance of change management in today's dynamic scenario. He also encouraged students to take up job in public sectors like ONGC with its creative opportunity and independence.

Kakodkar said that Lakshya brings in coherence in people's minds and actions leading to positive outcomes.

A balance between theory and practice is must in today's dynamic scenario, he added.

K. Sivaprakasam appointed MD of CARE
Mumbai: K. Sivaprakasam, executive director, IDBI, has been appointed managing director of credit rating agency CARE with effect from October 12.

Sivaprakasam joined IDBI in 1982 and became its executive director in 2002.
