Bill Gates coming next week
New Delhi: Bill Gates, chairman and chief software architect, Microsoft Corporation, will be making his fourth visit to India, for a period of four days, starting December 6.
The itinerary covers meetings with key government officials, business leaders, academicians, industry associations and policymakers.

Gates' public engagements include a CII-hosted CEO Forum in New Delhi on December 7 and a Developers Forum in Bangalore on December 9. Gates' visit also coincides with the Microsoft Government Leaders Forum, which is scheduled to take place in New Delhi on December 6 and 7.

The Microsoft Government Leaders Forum is a two-day summit themed `Leading in a connected world', which will bring together government leaders across the Asian region to engage in discussions; exchange experiences and best practices related to economic development, governance and education; while examining the role that information and communication technology plays in achieving success in these areas.

Bill Gates is expected to deliver the closing address at the summit on December 7.

Dhiraj Lal joins Agilent Tech. as Director
New Delhi: Dhiraj Lal has joined Agilent Technologies Pvt Ltd as Director - Credit, Collections and Program Management, at its Gurgaon office.

Lal, who will be part of the company's senior management team, has 17 years' experience in corporations such as American Express, Citibank NA and Standard Chartered Bank, both in India and overseas.

Lal is a Chemical Engineer from IIT - Delhi and an MBA from IIM - Calcutta.
