UTI Mutual Fund ups its stake in Gammon India
Mumbai:
The UTI Mutual Fund has acquired 1,09,180 shares aggregating to 0.1420 per cent of the total paid up capital of Gammon India Ltd on November 28, 2005, with the mode of acquisition being secondary market purchase.

The shareholding of UTI Mutual Fund after the said acquisition is 39,03,895 shares aggregating to 5.0759 per cent of the total paid up capital of Gammon India Ltd.

FIL and FMR Corp trim holdings in Infosys
Mumbai:
Fidelity International Limited (FIL) and FMR Corp, their direct and indirect subsidiaries, have sold 140,700 shares aggregating to 0.05 per cent of the total paid up capital of Infosys Technologies Limited on December 07, 2005.

The mode of sale was through the open market and the shareholding of FMR Corp and its direct and indirect subsidiaries and Fidelity International Limited (FIL) and its direct and indirect subsidiaries after the said sale is 13,617,263 shares aggregating to 4.99 per cent of the total paid up capital of Infosys Technologies Limited.

Spentex Industries issues shares to Citigroup, promoters
Mumbai:
Spentex Industries Ltd said Friday it has issued a total of 2.02 crore-equity shares to the Mauritian Citigroup Venture Capital International Growth Ltd and to Spentex promoters.

The board has approved the issue and allotment of 1.75 crore-equity shares to Citigroup Venture Capital and 27.50 lakh equity shares to Spentex promoters, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The company has also issued and allotted 20.25 lakh warrants convertible into equity shares, with an exercise price of Rs32.88 at the option of holder any time before the expiry of 18 months from date of issue of these warrants, it said.
