Rambabu appointed APSFC Chairman
Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh State Financial Corporation
(APSFC) has appointed J Rambabu, a retired IAS officer,
as its new chairman. Rambalu succeeds M. Gopalakrishna,
who served for four years.
Rambabu's last posting in AP was special chief secretary,
Transport, Roads and Buildings Department. After superannuation,
the State Government assigned to him the task of Pay Revision
of Government Employees (pay revision commissioner).
The Small Industries Development Bank of India, in consultation
with the Andhra Pradesh Government, nominated Rambabu
as chairman of the APSFC Board for a period of two years,
from March 10, 2006, according to a press release from
the Corporation.
