Kotak,
Sachs not to poach on each other's talent
Mumbai: Kotak Mahindra and Goldman Sachs have entered
into a no-poaching agreement. The move is likely to allay
apprehensions of the Kotak management about the likely
movement of employees to Goldman, the world's biggest
investment bank.
Kotak's top management includes executive directors, Dipak
Gupta and C Jayaram, Shivaji Dam, group head (corporate
and institutional banking) Shanti Ekambaram, Kotak Life
Insurance Gaurang Shah and retail liabilities head KVS
Manian.
Goldman will compete with Kotak in most areas after it
sets up operations in India.
