Luis Miranda resigns from Hotel Leela board
Mumbai: Luis Miranda, president and CEO of IDFC Private Equity, has resigned from the board of directors of Hotel Leelaventure hotel after IDFC sold its shares in the hotel company. Miranda was a nominee director of the India Development Fund on the board of the hotel.

Bharti to rejig top brass in West Bengal and Orissa
Kolkata: Bharti Televentures is planning to reshuffle the Airtel brass in West Bengal and Orissa circles.

Ajay Puri, who is COO of Airtel's Orissa mobile venture is tipped to be COO of Airtel, Kolkata.

Kolkata circle head, Subba Rao is likely to be appointed COO of Airtel, Mumbai. While its not certain who will step into Puri's shoes as chief of Airtel, Orissa, it is learnt that Sanjeev Saxena, who handles finance at Bharti's Delhi corporate office, is a possible contender.

Puri's relocation to Kolkata may coincide with the appointment of Rohit Malhotra as COO of Airtel's West Bengal circle, which includes Sikkim and Andaman & Nicobar islands.
