RNRL plans Rs. 1,100-cr preferential issue
Mumbai: Reliance Natural Resources Ltd (RNRL) is seeking shareholders' approval for a preferential share issue of Rs1,100 crore, and has informed the stock exchanges that an EGM for the purpose has been convened on April 14.

The shares will be priced "not less than" Rs25.65 per equity share of Rs5 each. The issue/allotment of shares/warrants could be in one or more tranches and can be subscribed by domestic/foreign institutions, institutional investors, banks, mutual funds, insurance companies, bodies corporate, individuals, and other entities.

Hindalco's Australian subsidiary to raise funds
Mumbai: Hindalco Industries Ltd has informed the National Stock Exchange that Aditya Birla Minerals Ltd (ABML), the company's wholly owned Australian subsidiary company, is seeking to raise about Australian $250 million (Rs775 crore) through offer of shares and subsequent listing on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).

The funds raised from the offer would be used for restructuring the company's financial position, in particular to repay the amount owed to the financiers under ABML's existing debt facility and to pursue exploration activities with a focus on increasing returns to the shareholders.

Post-issue, Hindalco Industries Ltd's holding in ABML is likely to get reduced to 51 per cent.

Dhampur Sugar prices GDR issue at US$4.81
New Delhi: Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd has said it has priced its US$53.7-million Global Depository Receipts offering at US$4.81 a GDR against the closing price of Rs224 per equity share on the NSE on March 24, the company informed the BSE.

The GDRs will be listed on the Luxemburg Stock Exchange, with each GDR representing one underlying equity share of Rs10 each. The issue, which opened on March 23 and closed on March 24 was subscribed by almost four times, it said.
ICICI Securities and Kotak Investments were the joint global coordinators and joint book-runners for the issue, it added.
