Harish Bhat rejoins Titan as COO
New Delhi: Harish Bhat, currently president (marketing) at Tata Teleservices, and former COO of jewellery brand Tanishq, has moved back to Titan. Bhat will head the watches division of the company as COO. The move comes on the back of Bijou Kurien quitting Titan to join Reliance Retail.

An old Tata hand, Bhat was earlier with Tata Administrative Services and had worked for Tata Tea before moving into Titan in late 90s. Prior to becoming the COO of Tanishq, Bhat looked after sales and marketing of the jewellery division, and is credited as being one of the main architects behind the rise of Tanishq.

With the overall growth in the jewellery business, this division of Titan has started generating more revenues than the watches division in the current financial year.
