Corporation Bank gets new CMD
Mangalore: The Union Government has appointed B. Sambamurthy as the chairman and managing director of Corporation Bank with effect from April 1.

Sambamurthy, a chartered accountant, joined the services of Syndicate Bank in 1978 and rose to the position of the general manager. He was a member of Export Advisory Committee and Standing Committee on Forex Clearing constituted by the Reserve Bank of India.
