Brig. (retd.) P. Ganesham takes charge as Director, Bharat Dyanmics
Hyderabad: Brig (retd) Pogula Ganesham has assumed charge as Director (Production) of Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL), the main missile production unit under the Ministry of Defence.

Brig Ganesham joins BDL after 30 years in the Indian Army. He has also been the Chairman of the Indian Institution of Plant Engineers (IIPE), according to a press release from BDL here.

Accenture's Chaitanya Kamat quits
Bangalore: Chaitanya `Chet' Kamat, head of Accenture's delivery operations in India, has quit his position at the company.
Accenture has appointed Sandeep Arora as Lead, India Delivery Centre.

The India operation is considered a flagship for Accenture's global delivery network. Accenture had close to 18,000 people in India as of end-February and the company has been adding over a 1,000 people on a monthly basis for its IT and BPO operations.

Thoppil is new creative head at Rediffusion DYR
Chennai: Rediffusion DYR has appointed Sunil Thoppil as Group creative director and Premdeep Gangadharan as general manager of its Chennai unit.

According to a press release, Thoppil, who is moving from TBWA, has over 16 years' experience which includes work on brands such as `Malayala Manorama', Kerala Tourism, Asianet and Pondicherry Tourism. Gangadharan, who is moving from Saatchi & Saatchi, has over 13 years' experience, especially with FMCG brands.

The Chennai unit handles the accounts of Airtel, Citibank, MRF, Nutrine, Vijayshanthi Builders and Fresh & Honest Café.

Sri Adhikari Brothers appoint independent director
Mumbai: Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on March 31, 2006, has appointed Mahendra Kumar Aggarwal, as an additional director of the Company w.e.f. March 31, 2006.

M K Aggarwal is a post graduate in commerce and graduate of law and has more than 38 years of experience with the State Bank of India.

Aggarwal will be an independent director in the Company.

Scandent appoints Wesley O'Brien as president of BPO arm
Mumbai: Scandent Solutions Corporation Ltd said on Wednesday that it has appointed Wesley O'Brien as President of its business process outsourcing subsidiary, Cambridge Integrated Services.

Brien in his new role as the President of Cambridge Integrated Services, would focus upon maintaining Scandent's financial strength and competitive position, as well as continuing the innovative programs, the company informed the BSE.

He will be based at Cambridge's US headquarters in Greenwich, Connecticut.
