Hyderabad: Nipuna Services has announced the appointment of Deepak Mangla as its chief operating officer. Mangla joined Nipuna in October 2005 from his earlier stint with Accenture Services.

VSNL ED wins award
Mumbai: N. Srinath, executive director of Videsh Sanchar Nigam (VSNL), has been named `Telecom CEO of the Year' by publishing group Telecom Asia in the 2006 edition of their awards. The award is in recognition of Srinath's role in transforming VSNL from a domestic monopoly to a major global telecom company in just four years, according to a statement issued by VSNL.

Satish Mandhana appointed exec VP, IDFC Private Equity
Mumbai: Satish Mandhana has joined IDFC Private Equity (IDFC PE) as its executive vice president. Prior to this, Mandhana was working as the chief financial officer at J K Paper.
An MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University, and a bachelor of industrial engineering from IIT, Roorkee, Mandhana has over 24 years of experience in financial services.

Haridas takes over as CII (NR) Director
Chandigarh: Sujith Haridas has taken over as the new regional director of Confederation of Indian Industry Northern Region of CII (NR). Haridas has been with the Confederation for the last 10 years.
