P.L. Gairola is new CMD of Dena Bank
Mumbai: P.L. Gairola has taken charge as chairman and managing director of Dena Bank, with effect from May 17. Prior to this appointment, Gairola was the executive director of the Bank of India.

Gairola has over 32 years of experience at various levels in the banking industry. He was associated with Union Bank of India in different capacities as branch head, regional head, zonal head and general manager. He has also handled the credit and social banking portfolios at Union Bank.

Arun Anand is CEO of Goetze
New Delhi: The board of directors of Goetze (India) Ltd (GIL) has appointed Arun Anand as its chief executive officer (CEO). Anand will also continue to serve as whole-time director on the company's board.

GIL's board has also appointed Anil Nanda as its non-executive chairman.

These appointments follow Federal-Mogul Corporation's acquisition of a majority stake in this long-standing joint venture. The transaction has increased Federal-Mogul's shareholding in GIL from 25.5 to 50.1 per cent.

Anand began his association with GIL 25 years ago, joining GIL in 1981 as a member of the finance department. He spent 12 years as chief financial officer and in 2002 was named executive director.

Siva Prasad is new chief for Hind Zinc, Vizag
Visakhapatnam: K. Siva Prasad has assumed charge as the head of Hindustan Zinc Ltd, Visakhapatnam, according to a press release issued by the company.

Siva Prasad joined HZL in 1978 and has worked in different units of the company. Prasad has done his B. Tech (chemical engineering) and M. Sc (mineral processing) from the Andhra University.
