GE chief Jeff Immelt to address BCCI meet in Mumbai
Mumbai: Jeff Immelt, chairman of General Electric
(GE), would be addressing the annual general meeting of
the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Mumbai
tomorrow evening.
Immelt
is also planning to meet government officials in New Delhi
in the morning before he leaves for Mumbai.

Gallup appointed senior V-P at Satyam
Hyderabad: Satyam Computer Services Ltd on Monday
announced the appointment of Michael Gallup as the senior
vice- president of its energy and utilities vertical business
unit.
Gallup's mandate is to provide leadership in building
new capabilities, enhancing industry-specific service
offerings and expanding Satyam's global footprint.
Gallup brings over 25 years of industry experience to
Satyam, and was associated with Deloitte Consulting prior
to joining Satyam.

appoints R.C. Shrivastav as director, HR
Mumbai: National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC)
has informed BSE that R C Shrivastav has taken over as
director (human resources) of the Company w.e.f. May 24,
2006.
Prior
to his joining Shrivastav was chief executive officer
of the NTPC Electric Supply Company Ltd, a wholly owned
subsidiary of NTPC.
