T. Montgomery is senior vice president, Global Insurance Practice, at Satyam
Hyderabad: Satyam Computer Services Ltd has announced the appointment of Timothy (Tim) Montgomery as senior vice president, global insurance practice. Based out of Massachusetts, Montgomery will focus on adding value to existing and new customer relationships, and identifying and developing high-end partnerships, planning and implementing market penetration strategies in the insurance area.

He will also provide leadership in building new capabilities, enhancing industry-specific service offerings and expanding Satyams global footprint.

Tim has over 20 years of IT experience. During the past 12 years, he was involved in IT outsourcing - both onshore and offshore - and was responsible for establishing significant offshore contracts with Tier I and Tier II outsourcing companies. In addition, he has developed and managed successful best-practice offshore outsourcing programs for fortune 500 companies that have resulted in more than $40 million in savings.

J. Dalal to head business solutions development at Mastek-Carretek
Mumbai: Mastek Ltd has informed BSE that Carretek LLC, a transformational business processing outsourcer for transaction processing, has announced that BPO expert Jagdish Dalal has been hired to lead the companys business solutions development.

As founding principal of JDalal Associates in 2002, an outsourcing consultancy, Dalal has helped many of the worlds leading professional services companies establish outsourcing and offshoring practices.

Dalal has served on the Board of Directors of Carretek LLC since its formation in 2003, contributing heavily to Carreteks solutions and model governance program.
