HDFC MF hikes stake in Apollo Tyres
Mumbai:
Apollo Tyres has informed the NSE that on June 5, HDFC Prudence Fund acquired 2 lakh shares aggregating to 0.52 per cent stake while HDFC Growth Fund acquired 50,000 shares amounting to 0.13 per cent of the total paid up capital of Apollo Tyres.

The mode of acquisition was through market purchase. Post this acquisition, the shareholding of HDFC Mutual Fund stands at 21,62,069 shares, representing 5.64 per cent of the total paid up capital of Apollo Tyres. The company's shares were trading at Rs 213.70, up 1.21 per cent at the NSE.
