Shankar Achary to be part time chairman, Kotak Mahindra Bank
Mumbai: Kotak Mahindra Bank has appointed Shankar Acharya as part-time chairman of the bank. Currently a director of the bank, Acharya will take over after the AGM schedule to be held in July 2006, subject to necessary approvals.

With this K M Ghreda would cease to be the chairman of Kotak Mahindra Bank. The shares of the bank were trading at Rs224.80, up 13.18 per cent at the BSE.
