Dr Reddy's in senior management reshuffle
Hyderabad: Dr Reddy's Laboratories has undertaken a major reshuffling of its key management positions.
The company's current chief financial officer V.S. Vasudevan has assumed the responsibility of heading Europe, including the recently acquired German pharma major Betapharm, the company has made its existing chief human resources manager Saumen Chakraborty, the new CFO.

In a press release here on Wednesday, Dr Reddy's said Saumen Chakraborty would relinquish his HR related responsibilities. However, he would continue to provide leadership for IT and business process excellence, the company said.

Prabir Jha, who has been Chakraborty's deputy as vice- president - HR & corporate communications, would now take over as the new CHR & corporate communications of the company.

Apart from this Andrew Miller, the General Counsel of the company based out of the US, has decided to return full time to the practice of law at the firm, Budd Larner. However, he would continue to represent Dr Reddy's at his firm. Dr Reddy's said it would not hire a new General Counsel in the US.
