WNS Holdings files for ADRs
Mumbai: WNS Holdings, which provides offshore business process outsourcing, is planning an initial public offering of 10.4 American depositary shares for between $18 and $20 per ADS. The Mumbai-based company plans to sell about 4.47 ADSs and shareholders plan to sell another 5.96 mn shares, according to a preliminary offering document filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank Securities, Merrill Lynch & Co., Citigroup and UBS Investment Bank will underwrite the IPO, the company said.

The company, which began as an in-house unit of British Airways Plc in 1996, is seeking a Nasdaq listing.

Kokilaben and others acquire stake in Reliance Comm
Mumbai: Ms Kokilaben D. Ambani along with others (acting in concert) have acquired a 2.11 per cent stake in Reliance Communications through open market purchases, the company has informed the National Stock Exchange on Monday.

Ms Ambani, AAA Communications Private Ltd, Hansdhawni Trading Company Private Ltd, Sonata Investments Ltd, Reliance Capital Ltd along with persons acting in concert, acquired 2.58 crore shares from April 1 to June 23.

The persons acting in concert include Anil Ambani, Tina A. Ambani, sons - Jaianmol A. Ambani and Jaianshul A. Ambani - Anadha Enterprise Private Ltd, Bhavan Mercantile Pvt Ltd, AAA Global Business Management Pvt Ltd and Reliance General Insurance Company Ltd.

Post this acquisition, their holding is 51.73 crore shares aggregating to 42.29 per cent stake in Reliance Communications Ltd.

The share price of Reliance Communication fell from Rs320 on April 3 to Rs251 on June 23 — the period when the promoter group bought the shares from the market.

Spentex to raise Rs175-cr from global mkts
Mumbai: Textile company Spentex Industries Ltd has decided to raise Rs175 crore from the international or the domestic market through the issue of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs) or other securities.

The shares of the company closed at Rs53.75, up 1.13 per cent at the BSE.
