Mittal coming to India
New Delhi: Steel tycoon Lakshmi Niwas Mittal who recently merged his steel company Mittal Steel with rival Arcelor creating the biggest steel conglomerate in the world, is coming to India and will reach New Delhi on Friday. He is said to be coming to India to explore new business opportunities and take stock of the company's India plans.

Mittal, is likely to meet the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, the Petroleum Minister, Murli Deora, and other Ministers, besides the Orissa Chief Minister, Navin Patnaik, sources said. An Orissa Government statement said Mittal is likely to meet Mr Patnaik on July 7 and may discuss investment plans in the State.

Besides steel and mines, Mr Mittal is also learnt to have expressed interest in the country's hydrocarbon sector.

Enron founder Kenneth Lay dead
Mumbai: Kenneth Lay said to be involved in the Enron scam died of a heart attack in Aspen, Colorado according to an AP report. He was 64 years old.

Lay had been convicted of helping to perpetuate one of the most sprawling business frauds in American history.

Lay, who lived in Houston, frequently vacationed in Colorado. He faced life in prison for his crimes involving Enron's bankruptcy and was scheduled to be sentenced on October 23, the report says.
