IL&FS collects $525 million from realty fund
Mumbai:
IL&FS Investment Managers has informed the BSE that the company has raised additional capital commitments for the Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Realty Fund, bringing the total size of the fund to $525 million.

With this, the Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Realty Fund has achieved its final close with a committed corpus of $525 million.

Max New York Life collection more than doubles in FY 2006
New Delhi:
Max New York Life has more than doubled its premium collection at Rs471 crore in 2005-06 as compared to Rs233.1 crore collected in the previous fiscal.

During the year the company sold 10 lakh policies and its total income jumped by 96 per cent to Rs851 crore.

Insurer's capital base stood at Rs587 crore, making it the second highest capitalised private insurance company of the country, Max New York said in a release.

The cumulative sum assured of the company now stands at Rs28,000 crore.

IDBI Bank opens 37th branch in Maharashtra
Mumbai:
IDBI Bank has inaugurated its Old Panvel branch in Panvel city of Maharashtra, its 37th branch in the State. The bank now has a network of 180 branches, four extension counters and 396 ATMs spread across 103 cities in the country, according to a press release.

The Old Panvel branch is fully-computerised, operates on the Finacle core banking solution platform and is equipped with the requisite infrastructure to deliver complete financial solutions and personalised banking services, both on assets and liabilities.

The branch also has an ATM centre. The bank plans to ramp up its branch network to 500 by March 2008.
