Vivek Sood appointed CFO at Tata AIG Life Insurance
Mumbai: Tata AIG Life Insurance Company has appointed Vivek Sood as its chief financial officer (CFO). Prior to this Sood was the vice-president, finance, at Hutchison Essar for the southern region. Sood will provide guidance to the financial team at Tata AIG Life in managing and taking financial decisions, as also responsible for formulating and managing the financial strategy of the company.

BHEL's Tiruchi unit ED resigns
Tiruchirappalli: The executive director and CEO of Tiruchi complex of public sector Bharat Heavy Electricals V Gopalakrishnan, has resigned due to personal reasons. V Gopalakrishnan, an expert in coal technology and an IIT Chennai alumnus faxed in his resignation letter.

BHEL Panipat executive director, S Satyanarayana will take over charge of the Tiruchi Complex.

Khandekar appointed director at Ensim
New Delhi: Web hosting solutions company Ensim India has appointed Dilip Khandekar as its director (engineering). As director - engineering, Khandekar would be responsible for product development of the company's entire Web and data hosting line of products, a company release said.

Before joining Ensim, Khandekar led virtual infrastructure product development teams at US-based VMware.
