After BangaloreIT.in and Bangalore Bio, get Bangalore Nano
Bangalore: The Karnataka government is planning to organise an annual event in the nano technology area called Bangalore Nano, on the lines of events like BangaloreIT.in and Bangalore Bio.

Anup K. Pujari, Karnataka's principal secretary for information technology said the maiden two-day event may be held in early December or January. The State is seeking to bring together all the stakeholders on a single platform through this event, he said.

Bangalore Nano would have two components - academic, where the focus would be on education and sharing knowledge and exhibition, where the benefits of nano technology would be showcased. The dates for the event would be announced soon.

Inflation rises to 4.67 per cent
New Delhi: Inflation rose to 4.67 per cent for the week ended July 22, from 4.52 per cent in the previous week mainly due to increase in the prices of vegetables, pulses, industrial fuel and some manufactured items.

The wholesale price based inflation stood at 4.33 per cent during the corresponding week of the previous year.
