Sify appoints Suri Venkat as COO
Chennai: Sify has appointed Suri Venkat as its chief operating officer. Venkat earlier worked in ITC and also built an infrastructure company as an entrepreneur would concentrate on people, processes and synergies between Sify's multiple businesses to bring about an integrated approach, according to a press release.

Murali Venugopalan appointed director HR at Virtusa
Hyderabad: IT services provider, Virtusa Corporation has announced the appointment of Murali Venugopalan as director-human resources. He will play the role of HR partner for one of the two Asia business units and also double up as the India HR leader. Based in Chennai, he will oversee all HR activities at the Chennai Advanced Technology Centre. Venugopalan has worked for companies such TI Diamond Chains Ltd, Hindustan Motors, Polaris, and HCL.
