New banking ombudsman appointed
Thiruvananthapuram: Suma Varma has been appointed as the Banking Ombudsman for Kerala and Lakshadweep. She was earlier general manager, Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata.

Members of the public can present their grievances relating to deficiencies in the services of banks in Kerala and Lakshadweep to the office of the Banking Ombudsman located on the premises of the Reserve Bank of India in Thiruvananthapuram.

Xansa India appoints new HR Director
New Delhi: Xansa India, a subsidiary of Xansa plc, the UK-listed outsourcing and technology company has appointed Shantanu Banerjee as director, human resources, for their Indian operations. Banerjee with experience of over 25 years in the industry through his association with Bharti Airtel, Bharti Televentures and Indo Rama Synthetics India would be a member of the Xansa India Operation Board.

Deepak Patel is new COO at MphasiS BFL
Bangalore: MphasiS BFL has appointed Deepak Patel as its chief operating officer (COO). Jerry Rao, CEO, MphasiS said, "Deepak Patel brings with him valuable experience across diverse positions and will play a key role in leading MphasiS, post the recent merger of EDS-India and MphasiS."

Prior to his current role, Patel was vice-president, Best Shore Strategic Investments and Business Development at EDS.
