M.A. Alagappan to take charge as new Murugappa group chief
Chennai: M.A. Alagappan, vice-chairman of the Murugappa Corporate Board and a member of the promoter family, will take over as the chairman of the group, according to a press release.

The present chairman, P.S. Pai's term was of three years and there was an extension given by the Board for a year, which is due to expire on October 20.

Pai is handing over operational charge to M.A. Alagappan who will take over as the next chairman.
