Om Narayan takes charge as MD, Indraprastha Gas
New Delhi: Om Narayan has taken charge managing director of Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL), the sole supplier of compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG) in New Delhi. He has taken over A.K. De, who demitted office on Thursday upon superannuating after his five-year stint was over as managing director of IGL.

IGL is a joint venture of GAIL (India) Ltd and BPCL with Government of NCT of Delhi holding five per cent equity stake. Narayan served as managing director of Gujarat - JV (for City Gas Distribution) before joining the current assignment.
