Inorbit CEO quits
Mumbai: Yogesh Samat, CEO of Inorbit Malls, a part of the K Raheja group, has quit and will move on to a new retail venture. Samat joined Inorbit as CEO two years ago from Barista, where he was the chief operating officer.
During his tenure Inorbit went on an expansion drive, targeting three more locations, in Navi Mumbai, Thane and Hyderabad. Inorbit was awarded the Mall of the Year in '05 in the ICICI Bank Excellence in Retail Awards.

Samat indicated that he would be entering into speciality retail, since the organised retail space catering to the masses is likely to burgeon with the coming of Reliance and the AVBirla group.

He indicated that he would work with Inorbit until a successor is in place.
