Anita Nayyar to takeover as CEO of MPG
Mumbai:
Media Planning Group (MPG), the independent media unit of France-based Havas will soon see a change of guard. Anita Nayyar, a veteran of the media industry with experience in Saatchi and O&M, is poised to takeover as CEO and country manager of the unit.

Nayyar is widely credited with having created a robust agency out of Starcom's fledgling media practice. She was ranked No 2 in Brand Equity's list of Most Influential Media People, a part of the Ad Agency Reckoner 2006.

Nayyar will work out of Delhi, currently MPG's strongest market.

Jeff Crasto, president & chief buying officer for MPG India, will take also be the CIO, S-E Asia. Ruby Bana, chief strategy officer, will take on responsibilities for S-E Asia. Both will support Nayyar in scaling up operations, and work with MPG AP CEO Vishnu Mohan.
