P S Pai joins LifeCell
Chennai: P S Pai has been appointed on the board of directors of LifeCell a Chennai-based company engaged in stem cell banking and research.

A former vice-chairman of Wipro and former executive chairman of the Murugappa group Pai is an alumnus of IIT Madras and holds a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering and brings with him over four decades of experience in senior levels of management, says a press release from LifeCell.

Geojit Financial MD wins award
Kochi: C J George, managing director, Geojit Financial Services, will receive the `Dhanam businessman of the year award 2006' for his commendable achievements and pioneering initiatives in the last one year.

Kurian Abraham, editor of the Dhanam business magazine, said that the award would be presented to George by the state industries minister at the 'Dhanam business summit' and award nite to be held at Taj Residency here on Friday.
