MSN India gets new marketing head
Bangalore: MSN India has appointed Satya Raghavan as head, consumer marketing. Raghavan brings with him experience in marketing and sales across FMCG, Media and IT industries.

He was earlier with Star India as vice president marketing for the portfolio of six Star televisions channels. Before that he was brand manager for Pillsbury.

Rajeev Chandrasekhar is FICCI's new vice-president
Bangalore: Chairman and CEO of Bangalore-based Jupiter Capital, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, has been appointed vice-president of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry at the conclusion of its 79th annual general meeting held in the Capital recently.

Chandrasekhar is currently a Rajya Sabha member, representing Bangalore. He has served as a member of the prime ministers' council on trade and industry between 1999 and 2003, member of the advisory committee in the ministry of information technology from 1999 to 2002, chairperson of the government of Karnataka, infrastructure task force from 1999 to 2002. Chandrasekhar is director, Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd.

Sameer Nair likely to join NDTV
New Delhi: Sameer Nair is said to have quit as the CEO of Star TV and may join NDTV as the head of the latter's new entertainment joint venture with film director Karan Johar.
Both NDTV and Star TV did not confirm the news.

Nair as programming head of Star TV came into the limelight after KBC hosted by superstar Amitabh Bachchan became a big hit. Nair was moved up the Star TV ladder and was first made the chief operating officer, and then took over as the CEO.
