Italian PM on India visit
Bangalore: The Italian primem Minister, Romano Prodi is on a five-day visit to India along with his senior ministers.

The premier on Sunday visited ISRO Satellite Centre's ISRO Satellite Integration and Test Establishment (ISITE) here.

The chairman of ISRO, G. Madhavan Nair, briefed Prodi on the country's space programme. Prodi's Bangalore itinerary also included an hour-long visit to the Infosys Technologies campus.

As a part of the tour, the Italian prime minister was presented with an overview on the Indian IT industry and the company.
