CBoP to offer advisory services
Kolkata:
Centurion Bank of Punjab (CBoP) has decided to offer management and real estate advisory services by forming a separate company in collaboration with a legal firm.

The new company to be formed in a month with an Indian legal firm would offer both custodian and executorship services mostly to the high net worth individuals, said Harpreet Singh, business director (wealth management, distribution and loans), CBoP.

CBoP hopes to garner 1. 5 million customers though the new business.

The new company will fill up the dearth of long term professional custodians for wills of persons in the country. The company will even act as executors of wills.

The company will also offer services such as formation of a trust. It would look into the day to day affairs of the trusts. In case a trust is formed for a special purpose, the company will ensure fulfilment of the objects of the trust.
