Fortis Health signs Rs87 crore pre-IPO deal

New Delhi: Fortis Healthcare has struck a pre-IPO deal with Trinity Capital (Eight) Ltd by offering 6 million shares for Rs87 crore. The equity shares issued pursuant to the pre-IPO agreement shall be subject to lock-in after the completion of the IPO, as per SEBI regulations. Fortis has already entered into two other pre-IPO agreements. The first was for 11.92 million equity shares, with private equity firms Quantum (M) Ltd and Blue Ridge Ltd Partnership and Blue Ridge Offshore Master Ltd Partnership (Blue Ridge) for $33.33 million end of last year. The second announcement made early this year was for an agreement with Lord Bagri, Apurv Bagri of Metdist Group (a million shares each) and Trinity Capital (2 million shares) for 4 million shares at an investment of Rs56 crore.

Benchmark AMC's gold fund gets NSE listing
Mumbai: The units of Gold BeES, the country's first gold exchange traded fund from Benchmark AMC listed at Rs1,000 on the National Stock Exchange.

The fund witnessed an intra-day high at Rs1,105 and a low at Rs940 before settling at Rs947.80. Total of 66,436 shares were traded on the NSE. The open-ended, listed scheme will track domestic prices of gold through investments in physical gold.

New debutants end lower
Mumbai: AMD Metplast, a manufacturer of plastic closures, listed on the NSE at a 2.74 per cent discount at Rs73 against its issue price of Rs75. The stock touched an intra-day high of Rs82.65 and a low of Rs70 before closing at Rs77.90. A total of 1,59,27,294 shares were traded on NSE. On the BSE, the stock opened at a discount of 15.21 per cent at Rs65.10.

Abhishek Mills
The stock of Abhishek Mills Ltd listed on the NSE at a 17.44 per cent discount at Rs85.15 against the offer price of Rs100. The stock touched an intra-day high of Rs100.65 before closing at Rs91.25. On the BSE, the stock opened at a discount of 6.38 per cent at Rs94. It touched an intra-day high of Rs100.45 and a low of Rs79.40 before closing at Rs91.15. The total traded quantity of shares was 65,99,103 and 93,64,253 on the NSE and BSE respectively.

Jagjanani Textiles
The Jagjanani Textiles stock listed on BSE at Rs22.40, at a discount of 11.60 per cent over its issue price of Rs25. The scrip touched an intra-day high of Rs24.90 and a low of Rs20.10 before closing at Rs23.15. A total of 1,44,75,399 shares were traded on BSE.
