NCC declares 40 pc interim dividend

Hyderabad: Nagarjuna Construction Company has decided to pay an interim dividend of 40 per cent (Rs0.80 per share of Rs2 each) on the paid-up capital of Rs41,48,93,720 (post bonus issue). The Hyderabad-based company has informed the BSE that its board of directors approved the proposal at its meeting held on Tuesday.

Suryajyoti raises $10 million
Hyderabad: Suryajyoti Spinning Mills has raised $10 million by issuing foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCB). The bonds, which have been listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, are convertible into shares at Rs85 a share. These funds would partly finance the new bottom-weight fabric facility expected to begin production in 2008.

LSE plans setting up trading platform for small units
London: London Stock Exchange wants to help India develop a trading platform for small and medium enterprises according to Martin Graham, director of markets- LSE.

He also said LSE had discussions with the Indian regulators on this issue. The LSE's Alternate Investment Market, which is a platform for SME companies, was the sixth largest capital market in the world last year.
