Ashish Choudhary appointed India, Nepal chief at Nokia Siemens Networks
New Delhi: Nokia Siemens Networks has appointed Ashish Chouwdhary as India and Nepal sub-region head. Prior to this, he was the country head for Nokia Networks, which emerged as the number one supplier for wireless networks in India under his leadership, a company statement said here.

Nokia Siemens Networks provides mobile and fixed network infrastructure and communications services.

Lakshmi Narayanan appointed NASSCOM Chairman
Mumbai: NASSCOM has appointed Lakshmi Narayanan as its chairman for 2007-08. Narayanan is the vice chairman, board of directors, Cognizant Technology Solutions.

Ganesh Natarajan, deputy chairman and managing director of Zensar Technologies has been appointed vice chairman of NASSCOM.

Sanjay Mathur is director Barclays Capital
New Delhi: Barclays Capital has appointed Sanjay Mathur as director, rates research for its Asia operation, excluding Japan.

Mathur would lead the firm's coverage of macro-economic research on the Indian subcontinent, Malaysia and Singapore, Barclays Capital said in a release here.

Prior to this appointment, Mathur was working as executive director in the regional economic team of global financial firm UBS, the release said.
