Kerala Information Technology and Industry Minister
P K Kunhalikutty says a business promotion outsourcing
centre will be set up in Kochi next month.
Kunhalikutty
had talked about the centre at the recently concluded
Bangalore IT.com festival. The centre, aimed at giving
training in call centre services, will be the first of
its kind in the state.
The
centre will be set up with private participation. Kunhalikutty
also held discussions with the heads of major IT companies
about channelising investment to the IT sector in the
state.
The
pavilion of Kerala, set up by Kerala IT Mission at the
festival, bagged the award for the best pavilion in the
e-governance section.
