A
profile of The Information Company Pvt Ltd
INTRODUCTION
The Information Company Pvt Ltd (TIC), incorporated
in March 1999, focuses on serving business information
and information technology needs in the Internet
age. The company was promoted by Kiron Kasbekar,
former Editor of The Economic Times, Bombay,
and Managing Editor of Business India magazine,
both leaders in their respective segments (business
daily and business magazine).
Besides media,
TIC offers content supply, design, software and
web solutions, and has worked closely with the
Tata Group for the past seven year, and with the
Aditya Birla Group for the past four years. These
are two of India's top four business groups. TIC
also counts many other leading companies among
its clients in India, Thailand, South Africa and
Indonesia. TIC has also developed knowledge management
software products, and has a patent pending for
the Informachine IMS.
TIC is an equal
opportunities employer, and complies with good
governance practices. For more information on
the company, visit www.ticworks.com.
MEDIA
TIC's media operations include India's first and
biggest online business magazine, www.domain-b.com,
and the prdomain BUSINESS REGISTER (www.prdomain.com),
India's leading website for original corporate
content. Together, these websites have over 45,000
of live pages of content, available free.
Looking for high-quality
online business media in India with more than
one million visitors a month and over 11 million
page views for your marketing? If your purpose
is to address a premium audience of business executives,
professionals, analysts, investors and entrepreneurs
- domain-b and prdomain are the ideal media for
your company.
Judge for yourself.
Pick up a keyword phrase from the title of any
recent news report on domain-b.com, and do a search
in Google News; more often than not domain-b.com
will appear in the top 10 results. Do the same
thing with press release titles in prdomain.com
and prdomain will score over businesswireindia.com
and other leading news sites.
These are proof
of the high traffic levels to these sites and
their high reference values. Check with traffic
ranking services such as trafficranking.com
and alexa.com,
and you will find that domain-b is streets ahead
of the online editions of India's leading print
business magazines (including Business World,
Business Today, Outlook Business
and Outlook Money; Business India
does not have an online presence). It is also
well ahead of the online editions of India's leading
IT and automotive magazines, such as DQ India
and Autocar India. What's more, domain-b.com
is way ahead of the online edition of India's
leading business daily, www.economictimes.com.
The domain-b
information architecture is unique, designed like
a database rather than a newspaper or magazine,
making it very easy for users to find what they
want. Visit the site and see for yourself.
New initiatives.
An array of interactive facilities and additional
content will be launched on domain-b by April
2007, along with a new design, to provide a vastly
enhanced user experience to a premium audience
targeted to reach 2.5 million a month by year-end,
with page views of over 25 million a month.
