AI Express boosts direct services between Gulf and Kerala

Dubai: Air India's low fare operation, Air India Express, is all set to increase the number of its services from the Gulf to the country, with direct flights from Muscat to three new destinations in Kerala commencing 31 October. The news services will be direct flights to Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi.
Under the new schedule, AI Express will now operate seven daily standalone flights per week to Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram and four flights per week to Kochi from Muscat.
The four direct standalone flights from Muscat to Thiruvananthapuram will be on Saturdays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and the four direct standalone flights to Kochi will be on Saturdays, Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
The airline will be operating two standalone flights per week to Kozhikode from Salalah, one to Thiruvananthapuram and one to Kochi.
The two direct standalone flights from Salalah to Kozhikode will be on Wednesdays and Fridays and the one direct standalone flight to Thiruvananthapuram will be on Sundays, while the flight to Kochi will be on Thursdays.
With the commencement of new services the airline will now operate 19 flights a week to India, as against the existing seventeen.
